| Overview
Globalization is the concept of bringing in different units for a particular parameter into the system, and also allowing the installers or facility managers to set the preferred unit for a particular parameter which is measured and displayed by the Airoverse system. This is implemented in the portals of the Airoverse system to provide multi-unit support for the parameters listed below.
| Parameters | Units |
|
Temperature |
℃, ℉ |
| Energy Consumption | kWh, kBTU, tonrefh, GJ |
| Airflow Volume | cfm, m3h, L/min, L/s |
| Air Pressure | inH2O, mmH2O, cmH2O, Pa |
| Water Pressure | bar, psi, kPa |
| Water Flow | gal/min, m3h, L/min, L/s |

To best understand how to utilize the globalization integrated within your Airoverse products, refer to the 'User Preference Management' section in User Management - Internal
With the above options for parameter units, preferences based on the country/organization/user can be precisely catered to through Airoverse products. Once the unit preferences for the parameters are set, the Airoverse system measures and displays the parameter with the preferred units at all applicable places within the system.
Note: The units preferences set from the portals takes effect in only the portals and does not cascade to the CCU, and the unit preference set in the CCU takes effect only in the CCU, without cascading to the portals.
Once unit preference for temperature is set to Celsius in the portals, the same takes effect in the heatmap screens, visualizations and user intent under zone settings sections as below.
| Heatmap
| Visualizations
| User Intent
Note: Just like the Fahrenheit mode the user intent for the desired temperatures are incremented or decremented in 0.5 ℃
