Update a CCU Via the Android Web Browser

| Overview

The CCU, which can be updated using the OTA and minimal adb, can also be updated via the Android web browser.

Let us look at the steps to get such an update completed.

| Setting the Home App to Launcher

To access the Android web browser, first we need to set the home app to launcher.

• Access the settings icon from the notification bar.

• Click Apps to access the apps.

• Select the Browser.

• Click the Browser app.

• Click the Home app to set it.

• Select the Launcher3 to set the home app to launcher from Airoverse Home (Default)

The home app is set to the launcher3, as below.

• Click the home icon to access the tablet home.

| Download and Update the CCU

• Click the menu icon to access the menu.

• Select the browser.

• Enter the apk link to be downloaded.
• Press Enter.

• Click Continue in the warning window to proceed.

The update is being downloaded as below.

• Navigate to the home app settings window, using the steps provided in the previous section.
• Select Airoverse Home to set the home app.

The home is set back to the Airoverse home, as below.

• Access the information page under the settings screen from portals using the remote access app,to visualize the updated CCU details, as below.

Alternatively, the same can be visualized from the CCU as well.
